From the Editor:
What is it all about?
Well, Mr. Larson’s class has changed a lot in the past week. I think this change is wonderful. Mr. Larson has obviously found something that the students are interested in. As a result, they are getting excited about participating in class. In some cases, when students are used to ultimate freedom in the classroom, changing instructional style like Mr. Larson did, may not be accepted very well in the classroom. However, Mr. Larson’s changes have only added to the class. Dr. Barnes is entirely too hard on Mr. Larson. Just because the principal does not agree with a particular teacher’s style doesn’t mean that he can expect to tell the teacher how to run the classroom. It is absolutely impossible for the principal to know what is best for the students in the class. In actuality, Dr. Barnes should be pleased that Mr. Larson is taking action in his classroom and that the students are excited about the new changes and style of the classroom.
